Child Assualted By A Hedgehog

Okay this is a serious story, albeit one that I am trying to keep a straight face while writing! Right....a fifteen year old boy has been attacked in New Zealand by a man weilding a hedgehog.

The fifteen year old boy who resides in the northern town of Whakatane in New Zealand was minding his own business when a 27 year old man by the name of William Singalargh decided to pick up a harmless hedgehog that was ambling along and throw it at the boy.

The fifteen year old boy suffered puncture marks and a red welt of a large size...William Singalargh who attacked him has been charged with assault with a weapon (never knew a hedgehog could be classed as a weapon).

If found guilty William Singalargh faces up to five years in prison and this is without the possible charges of animal cruelty that could also be bought against him.

Unfortunately I do not have evidence to say whether the hedgehog was physically or mentally scarred by the episode!
